Conversion Process - Electrical - Mark 2 batteries and second battery rack - Page 2.....

Mark 2 rack and 1.6mm Al "Propeller" plate fitted.....

20mm electrical conduit comes up from the bottom of the vehicle in the area shown by the red arrow

8 high tensile bolts (4 x 10mm and 4 x 8mm) secure the rack into the ute tray frame work....

(4 high tensile bolts will also be used to secure the top bar assembly to the base)

3mm closed cell foam acts a cushion and allows for any unevenness in the base....

Batteries in position (not clamped yet...) with 1 cm gap (spacing) between batteries for air flow
